Some weddings just feel like magic from the moment they begin—and Evan and Morgan’s was exactly that.
They kicked off the day with a first look at one of their favorite date spots—Kaldi’s Coffee in St. Louis. Morgan brought the beauty, Evan brought the tears. After a few sips of warm brew and some sweet coffeehouse portraits, we headed off to Forest Park for what would become one of our all-time favorite St. Louis wedding ceremonies.
Set beneath a towering old tree in the heart of Forest Park, their ceremony felt less like an event and more like a secret whispered in the woods. The sun filtered gently through the leaves, the breeze danced just right, and everything about it was so authentically them—simple, sincere, and overflowing with love.
As St. Louis wedding photographers, moments like this are what we live for. There were tears (mostly Evan’s), laughter, and the kind of connection that you can feel in your chest when you’re editing the gallery later. We were blinking extra just to keep our lenses clear.
This wedding wasn’t about extravagant details or a big venue. It was about celebrating love in its most natural form—with heartfelt vows, joyful guests, and a backdrop of trees that felt like witnesses to the whole thing.
